O2 Academy Islington

One of North London’s most iconic live music venues, O2 Academy Islington hosts an eclectic programme of gigs and club nights, from globally recognised artists performing in an intimate setting to emerging talent making their mark on the live scene.

Since opening in 2003 with a headline performance from US rock band Alkaline Trio, the venue has welcomed an impressive roster of international artists including Eminem, Muse, Beck, Fall Out Boy, Billie Eilish, Stormzy and Dave. Loved for its diverse calendar spanning every genre, it continues to be a key stop for both established names and rising stars.

It’s also known for its long-running club nights, including Britpop celebration Star Shaped and the much-loved weekly Club De Fromage, famed for its themed parties and cult following across London.
