Born out of the local garden concerts organised after lockdown in the summer of 2020, the Islington Music and Arts Festival aims to recreate the community spirit that inspired us during that time and bring people together to experience high-quality live music and art, in different venues throughout the Borough of Islington.
Join us in the Piazza on 12th and 13th July as part of Islington’s annual music celebration!
Walking Concert – 12 July, 6 pm
Immerse yourself in music and local history on this guided musical stroll around Angel. Starting in the Piazza at Angel Central, the walk visits four unique venues – Holy Trinity, After Noah, finishing at St Mary’s – with live string performances at each stop. Tickets £20- £25
Swing Dancing – 13 July, 2pm & 2:30pm
Swing into summer with free swing dance classes hosted in the Piazza. Tickets are free, but you must book your place in advance.
Tea Time Jazz – 13 July, 6pm
On 13 July, gather for The Spirit of Swing, drawing influences from New Orleans, featuring vibrant performances influenced by New Orleans. Tickets £17 – £23. Kids attend free
