There are so many places that have gotten the spotlight over the years, however we wanted to shed some light on some of Islington’s hidden gems. 

Jones & Sons

A classic British restaurant and cocktail bar, Jones & Sons is a trendy place to meet, eat and drink with an emphasis on honest British food and cocktails from around the world. 

Located just off Upper Street in Angel Central, the restaurant is beautifully decorated and gives customers an escape from the busy streets of Islington. Not only do they serve their popular bottomless brunch every week but their famous Sunday roast is also something that can’t be missed. 

The Breakfast Club

While this establishment is not a club based purely on the wonderful coming of age film of the same name, it does have a lot of fun 80’s nods and references to help give it that vibe. 

Tucked away in Camden Passage, this is the 2ndaddition to the Breakfast Club family and since opening in 2007 has been offering customers a variety of salivating food options including, burgers, waffles, burgers and much more. With so much to choose from, you won’t know where to start. 

If you are looking for an instant throwback to the times of old, then the only place to go is The Breakfast Club. 

Little Angel Theatre

Gem Restaurant

We couldn’t write an article about Islington’s hidden gems without talking about the crown jewel with gem in the name. 

The Gem Restaurant is known as London’s first Turkish restaurant. Serving all types of food that has become beloved in the region, Gem offers customers a fresh and tasty alternative to their regular dinner options,
