With the kids off and time to kill, it’s a great idea to get out and find some things to do with the whole family. But what to do?

Live Performances at Little Angel Theatre
First up on our list of fun Easter activities is a live puppet performance at the Little Angel Theatre in Islington.
Their current production is called The Flying Bath and is based on the book written by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by David Roberts. The story follows the bath toys as they spring to life when everyone has left the house and the exciting adventures that follow.
Performances of The Flying Bath will occur multiple times during the Easter break, except for Easter Sunday and Monday.
This performance is aimed at a younger audience but can still be enjoyed by everyone who’s up for a bit of family friendly fun!
Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt at Sutton House
Are you up for the challenge of finding the Easter Bunny’s missing Easter chick friends?
The Cadbury’s Easter Egg Hunt returns to Sutton House for another year of chocolatey fun and is set to be a great time. Follow the trail to uncover traditions of Easter throughout history and win yourself a delicious chocolate egg when you reach the finish.
If you like a bit of history and tradition with your chocolate eggs, this is a fun day out for the entire family.
Holiday Club at Solbell Leisure Centre
If you’re looking for a way to keep your kids active over the Easter break, Solbell Leisure Centre’s Holiday Club is perfect.
Better Holiday Clubs are poised to be a great place for kids to have fun, make friends and try lots of new activities during the holidays, and what better time to get them active than during the Easter period?
Did you know that you’d have to do 20 minutes of running to burn off a single Creme Egg?
With the likes of swimming, arts and crafts, bouncy castle play sessions and more, kids will be worn out after a long day of having so much fun.

Traditional Easter Fun Day at Freightliners Farm
Come on down to the Farm for a traditional Easter Fun Day!
Traditional Easter Fun Day returns to Freightliners Farm for a day jam packed with fun activities, and definitely shouldn’t be missed.
Attendees can expect an Egg Hunt (ranging in ages), and an Easter Bonnet Parade, as well as stalls, face painting, tombola and lots of fantastic food. If you’ve not paid a visit to Freightliners Farm before, this is the perfect excuse to drop by.
This Easter themed event is happening on Monday 22nd April and will be running from 12:00pm to 4:00pm.
Family Weekend at Sadler’s Wells
Aracaladanza are taking over the Sadler’s Wells theatre for a magical weekend filled with puppetry, balloons and out of this world costumes on 19th and 20th April.
Family Weekend is Sadler’s Wells annual mini festival and features an exciting array of games, crafts and activities, as well as the fantastic stage show. Fun for the entire family guaranteed.
There is also a family dance workshop based around the music and dance of Aracaladanza’s Play across both days and is priced at £2 per person. To learn more about what to expect, visit the Sadler’s Well website.
Mini Keepers at ZSL London Zoo
Experience the everyday life of a Zookeeper with ZSL London Zoo’s new role-play experience, Mini Keepers.
Aimed at kids, this interactive experience will put them in the shoes of a zookeeper where they will be given daily check lists and a uniform, help prepare lunch for the squirrel monkeys and create fun activities for the meerkats.
After the hard work is done, enjoy a schedule of demonstrations and activities throughout the rest of the Zoo and behold the beauty of Earth’s mightiest animals.
This event is running from 6th to 22nd April from 10am till 4:30pm, and the event is included in the entry price. Recommended age group for this activity is 4 to 11 year old’s.
Vue at Angel Central
How could we make a list of fun Easter break activities without mentioning our very own multi-screen cinema here at Angel Central?
As many of you know, the Vue Islington is a fantastic cinema that has beautiful wide screens, deliciously tasty popcorn and all the best new releases for you to enjoy.
To celebrate the kids being off for Easter, Vue is showing 2018’s Mary Poppins Returns as part of their Mini Mornings event. Tickets priced at only £2.49 per ticket and they have showings at 10:00am every day over the Easter break.
